For 17 June 2015 (Wednesday),
We
attended another meeting in SMU for the cold-calling. This meeting is made
compulsory for everyone in my group as Roslyn says that she will be teaching us
how to speak to the person that we will have to work with fluently. Initially,
we were supposed to meet at City Hall MRT but if I was to meet at there, I will
definitely be late for the meeting so I just directly go to the SMU lab to wait
for the others to arrive. After we went into the SMU lab, Robin wanted us to
start our cold-calling.
Zheng Yi took out her courage to call Epicure/Bites after several practices of reading the script. While Ging Yang, Zong Wei and me messaged the SP dancer group admins at around 2pm plus. After we have done the cold-calling and messaging, we show Robin and Natalie our improved version of proposal. They gave us some comments and advice on how we can improved in, example by adding more specific details in the venue and the things we needed.
This meeting lasted for an hour plus and both Robin and Natalie left after telling us that our next meeting will be at the next coming Tuesday. After they have left, our group did the power point slide for the local and oversea group before we dismissed ourselves and went home.
